Casting Iago- Mads Mikkelsen

For casting Iago I would choose Mads Mikkelsen because he naturally portrays a devious look which is how Iago comes across within the play. I thought it was fitting to cast an older character because it plays on the idea that he is more trustworthy as the older you are the more knowledge you are deemed to have. This suits Iago because he is known as 'Honest Iago' to his friends and needs to be seen as someone you could trust.
